Trial Terms

Trial Terms

Last Updated: [JULY-2026]

These Trial Terms (“Trial Terms”) govern any free trial, introductory trial, promotional trial, limited-service trial, or similar trial offer (“Trial”) provided by Ziddi Techies (“Ziddi Techies,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By registering for a Trial, submitting your details, authorizing a recurring payment method, providing access to your Shopify store, requesting work from our team, or otherwise using our Trial services, you (“Customer,” “you,” or “your”) agree to these Trial Terms.

These Trial Terms should be read together with our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cancellation Policy, and any plan-specific terms displayed during signup. If there is a conflict concerning the Trial specifically, these Trial Terms will apply to the extent of that conflict.

1. About the Trial

Ziddi Techies may offer eligible customers a limited Trial of selected Shopify store management, maintenance, support, and related ecommerce services.

The purpose of the Trial is to allow eligible customers to experience our working process, communication system, service quality, and selected Shopify support services before the applicable paid subscription begins.

Unless otherwise stated at signup, the Trial is limited in duration, scope, workload, task volume, and service availability.

A Trial does not provide unlimited access to all Ziddi Techies services.

2. Trial Duration

The duration of your Trial will be clearly displayed during signup or communicated to you before activation.

Unless a different period is expressly stated in writing, the standard Trial period is:

7 calendar days from Trial activation.

The Trial begins when Ziddi Techies confirms that your Trial has been activated. Depending on the signup flow, activation may occur after one or more of the following steps have been completed:

  • successful submission of the Trial registration form;
  • verification of contact or business information;
  • successful setup or authorization of an eligible recurring payment method;
  • acceptance of these Trial Terms;
  • completion of required onboarding information; or
  • confirmation by Ziddi Techies that the Trial is active.

The Trial does not necessarily begin when you first visit our website or submit an incomplete registration form.

3. Trial Eligibility

Trials are generally intended for new customers genuinely considering a paid Ziddi Techies service plan.

To be eligible, you must:

  • be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement;
  • provide accurate and complete registration information;
  • provide a valid business email address and WhatsApp/contact number where requested;
  • own, operate, manage, or be properly authorized to act for the relevant Shopify store;
  • use the Trial for legitimate business purposes;
  • comply with these Trial Terms and our other applicable policies; and
  • complete any payment-method authorization required for the offer.

Ziddi Techies may refuse, suspend, or cancel Trial eligibility where reasonably necessary to prevent abuse, fraud, duplicate Trials, unauthorized access, or misuse of our services.

4. One Trial Per Customer or Business

Unless we expressly approve otherwise in writing, only one Trial is permitted per:

  • individual;
  • business;
  • brand;
  • Shopify store;
  • associated company;
  • billing identity;
  • payment method; or
  • substantially related business operation.

Creating multiple accounts, using different email addresses or phone numbers, registering related entities, or using other methods to obtain repeated free Trials may be treated as Trial abuse.

Where we reasonably identify Trial abuse, we may suspend or terminate the Trial without extending the Trial period.

5. What the Trial May Include

Depending on the plan, offer, store condition, and scope displayed at signup, Trial services may include selected standard Shopify support tasks such as:

  • product information updates;
  • product image replacement;
  • price updates;
  • basic product edits;
  • basic product uploads;
  • collection updates;
  • navigation or menu changes;
  • banner replacement;
  • homepage content updates;
  • discount configuration;
  • basic theme-setting changes;
  • minor storefront adjustments;
  • basic app configuration assistance;
  • basic bug investigation;
  • minor CSS or Liquid adjustments where approved;
  • general Shopify support; and
  • other small store-management tasks accepted by Ziddi Techies.

The exact work available during a Trial may vary depending on your selected plan, Trial offer, store setup, technical complexity, third-party apps, theme architecture, access permissions, and team capacity.

6. Trial Task Limit

Unless a different limit is clearly stated during signup, the standard Trial includes:

Up to 3 accepted standard tasks during the Trial period.

A “task” means a clearly defined unit of work accepted by Ziddi Techies.

Examples of a standard task may include:

  • changing content in one defined store area;
  • updating selected product information;
  • replacing an existing banner;
  • making a small navigation change;
  • configuring a basic discount;
  • performing a minor theme-setting adjustment; or
  • investigating a clearly defined basic store issue.

Ziddi Techies will determine, acting reasonably, whether a request qualifies as one standard task, multiple tasks, an advanced task, a project, or work outside the Trial scope.

7. What Is Not Included in the Trial

Unless expressly agreed in writing, the Trial does not include:

  • complete website design or redesign;
  • full Shopify theme development;
  • full theme migration;
  • large-scale product migration;
  • bulk catalog migration;
  • unlimited product uploads;
  • custom Shopify app development;
  • advanced private or custom app development;
  • complex API integrations;
  • ERP integrations;
  • custom checkout development;
  • major database work;
  • large-scale data cleaning;
  • complete SEO campaigns;
  • link-building campaigns;
  • paid advertising management;
  • Meta Ads management;
  • Google Ads management;
  • marketplace management;
  • social media management;
  • graphic design campaigns;
  • photography or videography;
  • advanced conversion-rate optimization projects;
  • complete landing-page builds unless specifically included;
  • emergency development work;
  • extensive third-party app debugging;
  • work requiring paid software or paid app purchases;
  • services prohibited by Shopify or applicable law; or
  • any work not accepted by Ziddi Techies.

Large or complex requests may be quoted separately or deferred until a suitable paid plan is active.

8. Fair Use

The Trial is subject to fair use.

You may not use the Trial to obtain substantial project work free of charge, divide a large project into multiple artificially small requests, or submit an unreasonable volume of requests inconsistent with the purpose of a limited Trial.

For example, a request such as “update my entire catalog,” “redesign my complete product page,” “rebuild my theme,” or “fix every issue on my website” will not automatically qualify as one Trial task.

We may combine related requests, classify a request as multiple tasks, limit the scope of a request, or decline work outside reasonable Trial use.

9. Task Acceptance

Submitting a request does not automatically mean that the request has been accepted.

A task is considered accepted only when Ziddi Techies confirms acceptance or begins work on the request.

We may request:

  • additional information;
  • screenshots;
  • access permissions;
  • content;
  • images;
  • product data;
  • app credentials;
  • third-party cooperation; or
  • clarification of expected results.

If required information or access is not provided, the task may be delayed, paused, or declined.

10. Turnaround Times During the Trial

Any turnaround time displayed on our website or communicated during onboarding is an estimate unless expressly identified as a guaranteed service level in writing.

Trial turnaround times may vary based on:

  • task complexity;
  • current workload;
  • technical dependencies;
  • store condition;
  • third-party app limitations;
  • Shopify platform limitations;
  • customer response times;
  • required approvals;
  • availability of content or assets; and
  • access permissions.

Unless otherwise stated, weekends and public holidays are not guaranteed working days.

The Trial does not include guaranteed emergency response or 24/7 support.

11. Shopify Store Access

To perform certain services, Ziddi Techies may require access to your Shopify store.

Where possible, we may request access through appropriate Shopify collaborator, staff, or other authorized access mechanisms.

You are responsible for ensuring that:

  • you are authorized to provide such access;
  • the permissions provided are sufficient for accepted work;
  • the information you provide is accurate;
  • any required approvals are obtained internally; and
  • your use of Shopify and third-party services complies with their applicable terms.

We do not recommend sending your personal Shopify account password through WhatsApp, email, or other unsecured communication methods.

12. Backups and Store Changes

Shopify stores may contain custom themes, third-party applications, integrations, scripts, tracking systems, custom code, and other components outside our control.

Before significant work, we may create or recommend creating a duplicate theme or other reasonable backup where technically appropriate.

However, you remain responsible for maintaining appropriate backups of business-critical data, content, configurations, and systems.

You acknowledge that changes to a Shopify store may interact with:

  • third-party apps;
  • custom code;
  • external integrations;
  • tracking scripts;
  • APIs;
  • theme updates;
  • browser behavior; or
  • changes made by other developers or staff.

You must inform us of known custom systems or sensitive integrations that may be affected by requested work.

13. Third-Party Apps and Services

Your Shopify store may use third-party applications, themes, payment gateways, APIs, analytics tools, CRM systems, shipping systems, or other external services.

Ziddi Techies does not control third-party services and cannot guarantee their:

  • availability;
  • compatibility;
  • uptime;
  • pricing;
  • data accuracy;
  • performance;
  • continued functionality; or
  • support response times.

Any third-party fees, subscriptions, licenses, usage charges, or purchases are your responsibility unless expressly included in writing.

14. Payment Method Authorization

Some Trial offers require you to add and authorize an eligible payment method before the Trial begins.

Depending on the payment options available, this may involve a card, UPI AutoPay, e-mandate, or another supported recurring-payment method.

By completing the authorization process, you authorize the applicable payment arrangement according to:

  • the plan and amount shown at signup;
  • the billing frequency shown at signup;
  • the Trial period shown at signup;
  • these Trial Terms;
  • the applicable payment provider’s terms; and
  • applicable legal and regulatory requirements.

Your payment method may be processed by a third-party payment service provider. Ziddi Techies does not necessarily store complete card, bank-account, or UPI credentials on its own systems.

Recurring-payment processing in India may also involve authentication, mandate management, and pre- or post-transaction notifications through the relevant regulated payment participants.

15. ₹0 Today and Other Trial Charges

If the signup page expressly states “₹0 today,” no regular monthly subscription fee will be charged by Ziddi Techies at the point of Trial activation, except where:

  • a separately disclosed authorization amount is required;
  • a nominal verification amount is used and disclosed;
  • an upfront fee is clearly displayed;
  • taxes or other charges are expressly disclosed; or
  • a different Trial offer applies.

Any amount payable at signup will be shown before you authorize the transaction.

16. Automatic Conversion to a Paid Plan

If your Trial is offered with automatic conversion, your Trial will convert to the paid subscription plan selected during signup unless you cancel in accordance with these Trial Terms before the applicable renewal or billing point.

For example, if you select a plan priced at:

₹4,800 per month

and your signup screen states that the Trial converts to that plan after the Trial, then the applicable recurring subscription charge will become payable after the Trial in accordance with the billing schedule and authorized payment arrangement.

The exact price, billing frequency, Trial duration, and applicable taxes should be displayed during signup.

If you select a different package, the price of that selected package will apply.

17. Recurring Billing

After the Trial ends, the applicable subscription fee may be charged on a recurring basis according to your selected billing cycle and authorized payment arrangement.

Depending on your selected plan, billing may be:

  • monthly;
  • quarterly;
  • annually; or
  • another frequency clearly displayed at signup.

Recurring charges continue until the subscription is cancelled, expires, or is otherwise terminated in accordance with the applicable terms.

Payment processing remains subject to the capabilities and rules of the payment method, issuing bank, payment provider, mandate system, and applicable regulatory framework.

18. Reminder Before the First Paid Charge

Where required by applicable payment rules or supported by the relevant payment arrangement, pre-debit notifications may be issued through the payment ecosystem before a recurring debit. India’s current e-mandate framework addresses pre-debit and post-transaction notifications for recurring digital payments.

Ziddi Techies may also send additional courtesy reminders through channels such as:

  • WhatsApp;
  • email;
  • SMS; or
  • another contact method you provided.

A courtesy reminder from Ziddi Techies is additional to, and not a replacement for, any notification required from a regulated payment participant.

19. Cancellation During the Trial

You may cancel the Trial before the applicable first paid billing point using the cancellation method made available to you.

Depending on our current systems, cancellation may be available through:

  • your customer account;
  • a designated cancellation form;
  • a billing portal;
  • written email request;
  • WhatsApp support; or
  • another clearly communicated method.

To avoid ambiguity, we recommend submitting cancellation before the first paid billing point and retaining confirmation of the request.

Where cancellation is successfully completed before the first paid charge becomes due, future subscription billing will be stopped subject to payment-processing timelines and the applicable mandate or payment-provider process.

20. Effect of Trial Cancellation

When a Trial is cancelled:

  • the Trial may continue until its stated expiry date, unless ended earlier;
  • we may stop accepting new Trial tasks;
  • incomplete work may be paused;
  • access provided to our team may be removed;
  • future subscription services will not continue unless separately purchased; and
  • recurring payment authorization should be handled according to the applicable cancellation and payment-provider process.

Cancellation does not create an entitlement to additional free work.

21. Payment Mandate Cancellation

Cancelling a service subscription and cancelling or revoking a payment mandate may involve related but technically separate processes depending on the payment system used.

You should follow the cancellation instructions provided by Ziddi Techies and, where applicable, the mandate-management options made available by your bank, card issuer, UPI application, or payment provider.

If you revoke a payment mandate but continue requesting or receiving paid services, any outstanding amount for validly provided paid services may remain payable.

22. Failed Payments

If a payment due after the Trial fails, we may:

  • notify you;
  • request that you update your payment method;
  • retry payment where permitted;
  • temporarily pause services;
  • stop accepting new tasks;
  • suspend account access; or
  • terminate the subscription.

We are not responsible for fees independently charged by your bank, card issuer, UPI provider, or other third party, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

23. Taxes

Unless expressly stated otherwise, displayed prices may be subject to applicable taxes, including GST where legally applicable.

The amount shown at checkout or on the applicable invoice will govern the actual amount payable.

Where GST is charged, invoices will be issued according to the information provided by you and applicable requirements.

You are responsible for providing accurate billing and GST details where required.

24. No Guarantee of Business Results

The Trial allows you to experience selected Ziddi Techies services. It does not guarantee:

  • increased sales;
  • increased conversion rate;
  • higher traffic;
  • improved search rankings;
  • increased profitability;
  • uninterrupted store operation;
  • successful app performance;
  • specific revenue outcomes; or
  • any particular business result.

Ecommerce performance depends on many factors outside our control, including products, pricing, traffic, advertising, market conditions, customer demand, shipping, inventory, third-party apps, payment systems, and business decisions.

25. Customer Responsibilities

During the Trial, you agree to:

  • provide accurate information;
  • respond reasonably to clarification requests;
  • provide necessary access;
  • provide legally usable content and assets;
  • review completed work;
  • communicate issues promptly;
  • avoid giving conflicting instructions to multiple developers;
  • inform us if another person is simultaneously changing the same store areas;
  • maintain appropriate business records and backups; and
  • use our services lawfully.

Delays caused by missing access, missing content, conflicting edits, or delayed customer responses do not automatically extend the Trial.

26. Content and Intellectual Property

You confirm that you have the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or authority to use any:

  • images;
  • logos;
  • product descriptions;
  • videos;
  • trademarks;
  • fonts;
  • customer data;
  • software;
  • code; or
  • other materials

that you provide to us or instruct us to use.

You remain responsible for customer-supplied materials.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, pre-existing intellectual property owned by Ziddi Techies remains the property of Ziddi Techies.

Ownership or usage rights for custom deliverables, paid third-party assets, licensed software, and separately commissioned work may be governed by additional terms.

27. Confidentiality

We will use reasonable care when handling non-public business information made available to us for service delivery.

You agree not to disclose Ziddi Techies’ confidential internal materials, proprietary processes, credentials, or non-public commercial information without authorization.

Nothing in this clause prevents disclosures required by law.

28. WhatsApp and Electronic Communications

By providing your WhatsApp number, email address, or other contact details during signup, you agree that we may contact you for service-related purposes, including:

  • Trial activation;
  • onboarding;
  • task clarification;
  • access requests;
  • Trial status;
  • billing reminders;
  • payment status;
  • service updates;
  • cancellation confirmations; and
  • support communications.

Marketing communications, where applicable, should be handled according to applicable consent requirements and our Privacy Policy.

Service-related communications may be necessary to administer your Trial or subscription.

29. Trial Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate a Trial where reasonably necessary if:

  • you breach these Trial Terms;
  • you misuse the Trial;
  • you attempt to obtain repeated Trials;
  • you submit unlawful requests;
  • you engage in abusive or threatening conduct toward staff;
  • you provide unauthorized store access;
  • fraud or payment abuse is suspected;
  • continued work creates a security risk;
  • your requested work violates Shopify policies or applicable law; or
  • a technical or operational issue makes continuation impracticable.

Where appropriate, we may provide notice of suspension or termination.

30. Changes to Trial Offers

Trial offers may change over time.

We may modify or withdraw Trial availability for future customers, including changes to:

  • Trial duration;
  • task limits;
  • included services;
  • eligible plans;
  • pricing;
  • eligibility requirements; or
  • promotional availability.

Changes to future offers will not by themselves rewrite a Trial already activated under clearly agreed terms, except where changes are required by law, regulation, payment-system rules, security needs, or mutual agreement.

31. Changes to Paid Plan Pricing

The price displayed and accepted at signup applies according to the selected offer and applicable terms.

If we later change subscription pricing, we will communicate material pricing changes as required by applicable terms and law before the changed price is applied.

A pricing change may require updated authorization or other action depending on the payment arrangement and applicable rules.

32. Refunds After Trial Conversion

The Trial is intended to give you an opportunity to evaluate the service before paid billing begins.

Once a paid subscription charge has been successfully processed after the Trial, refund eligibility will be governed by our applicable Refund and Cancellation Policy, mandatory legal rights, and the specific circumstances of the transaction.

Unless required by applicable law or expressly stated otherwise, failure to use the service after a valid paid renewal does not automatically create a right to a refund.

Nothing in these Trial Terms limits any non-waivable rights available under applicable law.

33. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Service may be affected by:

  • Shopify outages;
  • third-party app outages;
  • payment-provider outages;
  • internet failures;
  • security incidents;
  • maintenance;
  • force majeure events;
  • customer-side access issues; or
  • circumstances outside our reasonable control.

34. Limitation of Trial Scope

The Trial is an evaluation opportunity and is provided with limited scope.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ziddi Techies will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from use of the Trial, including loss of profits, revenue, opportunity, goodwill, or anticipated savings.

Nothing in these Trial Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

35. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Trial Terms will be governed by the laws of India.

Subject to any mandatory consumer rights, statutory remedies, or other jurisdictional requirements that cannot lawfully be excluded, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts at:

[Insert City, State, India]

You should replace this placeholder with the actual jurisdiction appropriate to your legal business entity.
